PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Complete the classic appearance of your vintage Sansui quadraphonic receiver with a Custom Wood Case from HQaudios. Designed for the Sansui QRX-8001 and QRX-9001, this cabinet combines traditional wood-case styling with a carefully designed enclosure for compatible receivers.
This is a newly manufactured aftermarket wood case, not an original Sansui-manufactured accessory. It is sold as a separate cabinet for the compatible receiver models. The receiver and other audio equipment are not included.
Two finishes are available. Walnut offers a warm brown wood-grain appearance, while Light Cherry features a lighter golden cherry-toned finish. Both versions share the same cabinet design, receiver compatibility, and overall dimensions.
The cabinet is constructed from plywood with wood veneer surfaces and a protective 2K coating. Its three-sided design covers the top and sides of a compatible receiver while leaving the front panel open for access to the tuning dial, controls, and display.
A black satin powder-coated metal ventilation grille is integrated toward the rear of the top panel. The grille provides an opening for airflow above the receiver and adds a contrasting design detail to either wood finish.
The cabinet design incorporates wooden corner supports, a protective reinforcement assembly, and mounting provisions. Its open rear provides access to the receiver’s connections during installation.
Both finishes use the documented outside dimensions of 23.62 inches wide, 6.85 inches high, and 14.88 inches deep. These dimensions refer to the wood case, not the receiver. Each finish is backed by the 10-Year HQaudios Wood Case Warranty.

BASIC INSTALLATION & CARE
Disconnect the receiver from AC power and remove all connected cables before installing the wood case.
Carefully position the cabinet around the compatible receiver and verify mounting-hole alignment and clearance before fastening.
The cabinet design specifies four M4 x 0.7 x 15 mm bolts with M4 washers. Use hardware appropriate for the receiver and wood-case mounting points.
Keep the top ventilation grille unobstructed and allow adequate airflow around the receiver during operation.
Clean the finished wood surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive materials and harsh cleaning solvents.
