Return & Exchange Policy

30-Day Returns

HQaudios accepts eligible return or exchange requests within 30 days of delivery. Once approved, the item must be shipped within 7 days.

Exchanges are subject to product availability. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Return Shipping

For returns due to change of mind, compatibility, or other buyer-related reasons:

  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • If HQaudios provides a prepaid return label, its cost may be deducted from the refund.

If the item is defective, damaged during shipping, incorrectly described, or sent in error by HQaudios, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs. No restocking fee will apply.

Item Condition

Returned items must be in substantially the same condition as delivered, including:

  • Matching serial number;
  • All included accessories, parts, and documents;
  • No new damage, modification, misuse, or unauthorized repair;
  • Secure packaging suitable for vintage audio equipment.

Customers should reuse the original HQaudios packaging whenever possible. If it is unavailable, please contact us before shipping.

Restocking Fee

A restocking fee or refund adjustment of up to 15% may apply if the item:

  • Is returned with new damage;
  • Is missing parts or accessories;

  • Has been modified or repaired without authorization;
  • Is damaged because of improper return packaging; or
  • Has materially decreased in value after delivery.

Any deduction will be based on the item’s actual condition and loss in value. Normal inspection or return processing alone will not result in a restocking fee.

Shipping Damage

If an item arrives damaged, please keep all packaging and contact HQaudios as soon as possible. Photos or videos of the packaging and item will help us process the claim.

International Returns

International buyers must contact HQaudios before returning an item.

For buyer-related returns, the buyer is responsible for return freight, insurance, customs documentation, duties, taxes, and brokerage fees. Original customs duties and import charges are generally not refundable by HQaudios.
