PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Give your vintage Sansui receiver a classic finishing touch with this Custom Natural Walnut Wood Case from HQaudios. Designed for the Sansui G7700 and also compatible with the Sansui G6700, this cabinet combines traditional wood-case styling with the warm appearance of walnut-colored wood grain.
This is a newly manufactured aftermarket wood case, not an original Sansui-manufactured cabinet. It is sold as a separate accessory for the compatible receivers; the receiver itself is not included.
The Natural Walnut finish displays warm brown tones and visible linear wood-grain patterns across the cabinet’s top and side panels. Its understated appearance complements the metal faceplate and dark accents of vintage Sansui audio equipment.
The cabinet is built from plywood with wood veneer surfaces and a protective 2K finish. The three-sided design covers the receiver’s top and sides while leaving the front open for the tuning dial, switches, knobs, and other controls.
A series of elongated ventilation slots is incorporated toward the rear of the top panel. These openings are visible in the actual product photographs and provide a route for rising warm air to exit the cabinet. The rear of the case remains open for connections and installation access.
The interior includes wooden corner supports and mounting provisions. HQaudios’ cabinet drawing also specifies two protective reinforcement pieces as part of the design. The actual photographs show the cabinet’s construction, exterior surfaces, mounting openings, and ventilation details.
The design measures 19.80 inches wide, 6.61 inches high, and 13.35 inches deep. These are outside dimensions of the wood case, not the dimensions of the Sansui receiver. The case is backed by the 10-Year HQaudios Wood Case Warranty.

BASIC INSTALLATION & CARE
Disconnect the receiver from AC power and remove all connected cables before installing the wood case.
Carefully position the case around the compatible receiver and verify mounting-hole alignment and cabinet clearance before fastening.
The cabinet drawing specifies four M4 x 0.7 x 15 mm bolts with M4 washers. Use hardware suitable for the receiver and the case mounting points.
Keep the top ventilation slots clear and allow adequate space around the receiver for airflow during operation.
Clean the finished wood surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh solvents and abrasive materials.
