PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The RSL Elan is a vintage floorstanding loudspeaker from Rogersound Labs, the Southern California company associated with classic American high-fidelity speaker designs.
Each Elan features a large front woofer, a rear passive radiator, a dedicated midrange driver, and front and rear high-frequency reproduction. This arrangement distinguishes the Elan from conventional three-way speakers with only front-facing drivers.
The rear passive radiator works with the main woofer as part of the speaker’s low-frequency system. The rear-firing tweeter contributes additional high-frequency output toward the space behind the speaker.
Midrange and tweeter level controls allow the listener to adjust the balance of the dedicated frequency sections according to the listening room and associated equipment.
