PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Give your Sansui G-8000 stereo receiver a distinctive appearance with this custom black wood case from HQaudios. Designed specifically as a receiver cabinet accessory, it combines traditional wood-case construction with a dark wood-grain finish that complements the styling of vintage Sansui equipment.
This is a newly manufactured aftermarket wood case, not an original Sansui-manufactured accessory. The HQaudios cabinet design uses plywood construction, wood veneer surfaces, and a protective 2K finish.
The cabinet features a Custom Black wood-grain exterior with a fitted ventilation grille on the top panel and an additional rear ventilation grille. These features help provide airflow around the receiver while retaining the traditional profile of a vintage wood cabinet.
Its three-sided design covers the top and sides of the receiver while leaving the front panel open for access to the tuning dial, switches, and controls. Interior wooden supports and mounting areas are visible in the actual product photographs.
Based on the HQaudios cabinet drawing, the designed outer dimensions are 21.93 inches wide, 5.55 inches high, and 15.63 inches deep. These are wood-case dimensions, not receiver dimensions.
The black finish provides an understated alternative to conventional brown wood cabinetry, creating a coordinated appearance with the Sansui G-8000’s vintage receiver design.

BASIC INSTALLATION & CARE
Disconnect the receiver from AC power and remove all connected cables before installation.
Carefully position the wood case and verify mounting-hole alignment and clearances before securing it.
The cabinet design specifies M4 x 0.7 x 15 mm mounting bolts with M4 washers. Confirm the appropriate hardware and fit before installation.
Keep the top and rear ventilation grilles unobstructed during operation. Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
