PROFESSIONAL RESTORATION & SERVICE

Both speakers were inspected and serviced by HQaudios. The following work was completed:

Cabinet & Veneer Restoration

• Repaired damaged and peeling veneer areas on both cabinets.
• Applied new veneer to affected sections where necessary.
• Refinished the cabinet surfaces after veneer repair to achieve a more uniform and presentable appearance.

Internal Cleaning

• Removed accumulated dust and debris from inside both speaker cabinets.

Labels

• Cleaned the original labels.
• Replaced damaged labels where necessary.

JBL Logos

• Replaced worn or damaged JBL logos with replacement logos.

Control Knobs

• Cleaned the front control knobs.
• Removed accumulated dirt and oxidation.

Speaker Grilles

• Restored both grille assemblies.
• Replaced the grille material.
• Reinforced the grille frames.

Woofer / Bass Area Reinforcement

• Applied adhesive reinforcement to affected bass/woofer-related areas to improve structural stability.

L-Pad / HF Level Control Service

• Inspected and serviced the high-frequency L-Pad level controls.
• Corrected scratchy/noisy operation.
• Retested both controls for proper function.

Driver Testing

• Tested the individual speaker drivers to verify proper operation.

Crossover Inspection

• Inspected and tested both crossover networks for proper operation.

Final Sound Testing
