PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Pioneer SX-980 is a substantial late-1970s AM/FM stereo receiver rated at 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Its design combines a direct-coupled power amplifier section with a full-featured preamplifier, analog tuner, dual tape facilities, and selectable speaker outputs.
This particular unit features a custom black faceplate finish completed by HQaudios. The black finish is not the original factory faceplate color; the original Pioneer control layout, lettering, meters, switches, and operating functions have been retained.
The SX-980 was electronically serviced, cosmetically detailed, and tested by HQaudios before being prepared for sale.
