The Golden Brown finish creates a warm, rich appearance while allowing the natural character of the walnut wood grain to remain visible.

The genuine walnut veneer complements the silver faceplates and traditional design of vintage Marantz components, creating a classic furniture-inspired hi-fi presentation.

The cabinet features an open front frame, allowing the installed component’s faceplate and controls to remain visible.

The wood surfaces feature a protective 2K coating, while the top incorporates a black satin powder-coated metal grille for ventilation.

Because genuine wood veneer is used, natural variations in grain pattern, texture, and color may be present. The Golden Brown finish may appear slightly different depending on lighting and display settings.

Installation & Fitment

The WC-01 is designed as a replacement wood case for compatible classic Marantz components.

The cabinet features an open-front design intended to accommodate the appropriate equipment chassis while keeping the faceplate and front controls visible.

• Confirm your Marantz model is included in the compatibility list.

• Inspect the cabinet and component mounting arrangement before installation.
• Carefully position the component inside the wood case.
• Do not force the chassis if the fit or alignment is incorrect.
• Keep the top ventilation openings unobstructed.

Ventilation & Heat Management

The WC-01 incorporates a perforated metal ventilation grille designed to allow airflow through the top of the cabinet.

The metal grille features a black satin powder-coated finish and is designed with formed edges for integration into the wood case.

Ventilation is especially important for vintage audio components that generate heat during normal operation.

Do not cover the ventilation area or obstruct airflow around the installed equipment. Follow the equipment manufacturer’s operating and ventilation recommendations.

Vintage Marantz Restoration

The WC-01 is a practical addition to a classic Marantz restoration project.

A suitable wood cabinet can improve the overall presentation of a vintage receiver, amplifier, or tuner while preserving the recognizable appearance of the original equipment.

The Golden Brown walnut veneer provides a warm, natural contrast to classic silver-face Marantz components, creating a traditional vintage hi-fi presentation.

For collectors and vintage audio enthusiasts, this newly manufactured wood case offers a replacement option for restoring the appearance of compatible Marantz equipment.

Cosmetic Condition

This WC-01 is a brand-new production wood case manufactured from new materials.

The cabinet features genuine walnut veneer with a Golden Brown finish and a protective 2K coating.

The warm golden brown tone highlights the natural wood-grain patterns while complementing the vintage character of classic Marantz equipment.

As natural wood veneer is used, slight differences in grain direction, color, and texture may be present.

Please review the product photographs for the actual Golden Brown finish and visible appearance of the wood case.
