Offered here is a pair of Marantz M16 vintage four-way floorstanding loudspeakers,
professionally restored, inspected and fully tested by HQaudios.

The M16 uses Marantz’s distinctive Focused-Field four-way speaker design,
combining dedicated low, mid, high and very-high-frequency drivers with
front-accessible level controls and substantial furniture-style cabinetry.

Each cabinet uses a 12-inch woofer, 5-inch midrange,
1.5-inch LPF tweeter and 1-inch LPF dome super-tweeter.

An important feature of the M16 is its enclosure construction:
this model uses a sealed / closed-box enclosure.
It is not a bass-reflex design.

With the grilles installed, the tall walnut-finished cabinets have the
presence of vintage furniture. Remove the grilles and the mirrored driver
arrangement reveals the more technical side of the design.

Open the hinged front control doors and you will find the
Focused Field identification together with separate
level controls for the Midrange, High and Very High
frequency sections.

Walnut veneer, bronze-colored trim and smoked-glass top inlays complete
the distinctive presentation. The rear labels on this pair carry the wording
