Sound Character

• The signal path, dial illumination, Gyro-Touch tuning mechanism, meters, front-panel controls, and overall operating condition were checked to determine the required service work.

During Restoration

• Based on the inspection results, this Marantz 2285B was serviced according to HQaudios’ technical standards while preserving its original engineering and vintage character.
• The power supply, amplifier section, signal path, and internal circuit boards were cleaned, inspected, serviced, and adjusted as required.
• Controls, switches, relays, potentiometers, and connectors were cleaned and treated to support smooth, dependable operation.
