PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Marantz 2252B is a late-1970s 2-channel AM/FM stereo receiver delivering 52 watts per channel, with Gyro-Touch tuning, three-band tone controls, two tape loops with dubbing, pre-out / main-in connections and two speaker systems.
It offers two phono inputs and a built-in phono equalization stage, so two compatible turntables can remain connected, with playback selected through the receiver’s input selector.
This unit features a custom black faceplate with the classic blue Marantz dial illumination and comes with a free WC-22 wood case, as shown in the photos. We restored it with careful attention to technical operation and cosmetic presentation, while preserving the original Marantz electronics.
