• Initial inspection identified cabinet wear, including scratches and chipped wood corners, deteriorated woofer foam surrounds, rusted screws, and an additional damaged component noted on the service sheet.
• Driver resistance measurements of approximately 3.4 ohms, 3.3 ohms, and 3.2 ohms were recorded during the initial inspection without assigning the values to individual drivers.
• The cabinets, AMT drivers, woofers, terminals, driver surrounds, and general operating condition were evaluated to determine the necessary service work.

During Restoration

• Based on the inspection findings, this pair of ESS AMT 1AM speakers was serviced while preserving its original design and vintage character.
• The deteriorated woofer foam surrounds were replaced and properly bonded to restore normal cone movement and dependable operation.
• The cabinets were restored while retaining their original color and overall vintage appearance.
• Rusted screws and related hardware were refinished, and the affected damaged component recorded on the service sheet was addressed during the service process.
