PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Give your vintage Sansui stereo receiver a refined finishing touch with the Sansui G8700DB Custom Light Cherry Wood Case from HQaudios. Designed specifically for the Sansui G8700DB, this custom cabinet combines traditional wood-case styling with a warm Light Cherry finish.
This is a newly manufactured aftermarket wood case, not an original Sansui-manufactured accessory. It is sold as a separate receiver cabinet, allowing an owner to complete or update the appearance of a compatible vintage Sansui G8700DB.
The Light Cherry finish displays warm golden and reddish wood tones with visible linear grain patterns. The wood-grain character gives the cabinet a distinctive appearance while complementing the metal controls and dark accents of the Sansui receiver.
The cabinet is constructed from plywood with wood veneer surfaces and a protective 2K finish. Its three-sided design covers the top and sides of the receiver while leaving the front open for access to the tuning dial, switches and controls.
A rectangular side ventilation opening with black trim is incorporated into the wood case. This feature gives the cabinet a recognizable detail and provides a ventilation opening along the side of the receiver. The top panel maintains a continuous wood-grain appearance.
The interior construction includes wooden reinforcement and mounting provisions. The actual product photographs show the exterior finish, side ventilation detail and cabinet construction from multiple viewing angles.

BASIC INSTALLATION & CARE
Disconnect the receiver from AC power and remove all connected cables before installing the wood case.
Carefully position the cabinet around the Sansui G8700DB and check the mounting-hole alignment and clearances before fastening.
The cabinet design specifies six M4 x 0.7 x 15 mm bolts with M4 washers. Confirm that the mounting hardware is suitable for the receiver and the cabinet mounting points.
Maintain suitable airflow around the receiver and keep the cabinet’s side ventilation opening unobstructed during operation.
Clean the wood surfaces using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive materials and harsh cleaning solvents.
