The Sansui QRX-9001 is one of the most desirable quadraphonic receivers ever built. Known for its powerful 4-channel separation, wide soundstage, and excellent musicality, the QRX-9001 represents the peak of Sansui’s engineering in the 1970s.
This unit has been fully refurbished by HQaudios with great attention to aesthetics and long-term reliability. It includes a newly handcrafted walnut wood case, polished aluminum faceplate, and upgraded internal lighting.

This Sansui QRX-9001 has undergone a complete, professional Level-1 restoration at HQaudios. The work focuses on durability, stability, and long-term performance—all completed with high-grade components.

1. Disassembly & General Service

• Unit fully disassembled for detailed inspection.
• Dust removal, chassis deep-clean, oxidation removal on all metal surfaces.
• Faceplate, knobs, switches, dial glass, and display panel polished and reconditioned.
• Rear connectors, fuse holders, and terminal blocks cleaned and reconditioned.

2. Power Supply Board Restoration

• All electrolytic capacitors replaced with high-quality Nichicon/Panasonic long-life caps.
• Voltage regulators inspected, reflowed, and tested under load.
• All power resistors checked and replaced where drift was detected.
• New thermal compound applied to power devices.
• Power filter capacitors tested for ESR and ripple.
  

3. Driver & Amplifier Board Restoration

• Complete recap of the driver boards.
