Sound Character

The Sansui G-8000 delivers a powerful, controlled, and highly engaging presentation.

Its 120-watt-per-channel amplifier section provides substantial headroom for large speakers and dynamic recordings. Bass is deep and authoritative, with the control required to manage large woofers without making the presentation sound slow or uncontrolled.

Important Vintage Audio Note

This is a large, high-powered vintage stereo receiver and must be used with adequate ventilation.

Do not cover the upper ventilation grille or install the receiver inside a tightly enclosed cabinet.

Confirm the speaker impedance and wiring configuration before operation, particularly when using two speaker pairs.

Switch the receiver off before connecting or disconnecting speakers, turntables, tape decks, preamplifiers, power amplifiers, or other components.
