Condition:
This receiver is in “Very Good” condition, displaying minor signs of use with a bright, clear dial. All knobs, feet, and the attached AM antenna and AC cord are present and intact. Although the manual is missing, it can be found online or we can provide a PDF upon request. Please inspect all photos thoroughly for the actual condition.
Service:
Upon inspection, the unit had scratchy controls, a dim dial, and some distortion in one channel. Therefore, it underwent servicing by our technician. Manufacturer used certain transistors in this model that are known to fail after 40 years, so all of these were replaced. This upgrade resolved the distortion issue. Additionally, several questionable capacitors were replaced.
Testing:
After servicing, the receiver was tested on our bench and performed excellently, delivering a powerful, warm, distortion-free signal characteristic of analog receivers. All inputs, outputs, and features were confirmed operational, and the tuner spins smoothly. Additional testing was conducted, and we can provide specific feature information upon request. This is a remarkable find for the vintage audiophile.
