PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Marantz 4270 is a classic vintage receiver featuring Marantz’s Stereo 2 + Quadradial 4 architecture. Designed for both conventional two-channel listening and four-channel audio reproduction, the 4270 combines an integrated amplifier, AM/FM tuner and analog audio connections in one component.

In two-channel stereo mode, the Marantz 4270 is rated at 70 watts per channel into 8 ohms. In four-channel quadraphonic mode, it delivers a factory-rated 25 watts per channel into 8 ohms. This dual-mode configuration provides flexibility for traditional stereo systems and vintage quadraphonic setups.

The receiver incorporates Marantz’s recognizable Gyro-Touch tuning mechanism, an illuminated analog tuning dial, an integrated AM/FM tuner, Dolby Noise Reduction and Vari-Matrix circuitry.

This particular Marantz 4270 features a custom black faceplate, creating a distinctive alternative to the traditional silver Marantz presentation. The black finish is a custom cosmetic treatment and is not represented as a factory-original black-face model.

A complimentary WC-22 wood case is included with this receiver at no additional charge. The combination of the black faceplate and wood cabinet gives this vintage Marantz a distinctive appearance.
