For every pair, HQaudios places particular attention on the condition of the drivers, crossover, ports, and binding posts, the internal wiring, and the cabinet. These components play a critical role in driver performance, tonal balance, and overall sound quality.
The full signal path, connection terminals, and internal wiring are also thoroughly inspected to accurately assess the operating condition of the pair before restoration begins.
During Restoration
Based on the initial inspection, each pair is restored according to HQaudios’ technical standards with the goal of preserving the original engineering and sound character that have made this model so highly respected among vintage audio enthusiasts.
The drivers, crossover, ports, and binding posts are carefully cleaned, inspected, and serviced to maintain proper operation and reliable performance across the full frequency range.
