Operational Character

The Sansui G9000 Wood Case provides a refined visual presentation while serving an essential functional role in thermal dissipation.

Constructed to match the exact internal dimensions of the oversized G-9000 chassis, the open top grille design ensures that the immense heat generated by the receiver’s dual power section escapes freely. This maintains proper operating temperatures without compromising performance or component longevity.

Visually, the rich walnut wood grain adds warmth and period-correct luxury to your vintage listening setup, seamlessly complementing the silver faceplate and glowing dial meters of the massive G-9000 receiver.

Cosmetic Condition

This wood case is handcrafted to high woodworking standards with clean joinery and smooth surfaces.

Suggested Pairing

This wood case is engineered specifically to complement the oversized Sansui G-9000 receiver chassis.

For proper fitment, ensure your Sansui receiver matches the exact G-9000 model chassis specifications before installation.

Basic Use Guide

To help ensure smooth installation and long-term performance:

• Unplug your receiver completely from power and disconnect all speaker cables before installation.
• Remove the original metal bonnet/top cover from your Sansui receiver if required for cabinet fitment.
• Carefully slide the extremely heavy receiver chassis into the case from the front, taking care to avoid scratching the wood veneer. Assistance from a second person is highly recommended.
• Align and secure side mounting screws snugly without over-tightening to protect the wood threads.
• Wipe the real wood veneer occasionally with a soft, dry microfiber cloth, avoiding direct sunlight or high humidity.
