• Keep the tape path and heads clean: Clean the GX heads and metal tape-path surfaces regularly using an appropriate head-cleaning solution. Use a rubber-safe cleaner for the pinch roller and avoid harsh solvents on rubber components.
• Auto-Reverse: Ensure your magnetic tapes are equipped with sensing foil at the ends of the recording to properly utilize the auto-reverse function.
• Do not force transport controls: Allow the reels to come to a complete stop before switching between fast-wind and play functions.
• This unit is rated for 100V AC, 50/60 Hz. Please use an appropriate 120V-to-100V step-down transformer when operating the deck from a standard 120V U.S. household outlet, unless a documented voltage conversion has been performed.
